Guiding Principles

Our Mission is at the core of our strategic plan. Developed by the Board of Directors, with feedback from parents and parishioners, our strategic plan will guide us until the end of the 2024 school year. We are committed to:

1. Increasing the visibility of St. Ignatius School in our immediate neighbourhood and throughout the city. This includes creating and providing opportunities for our students to be the hands and feet of Jesus for those who live in our neighbourhood. These service opportunities, along with strategic branding of our school, will help make our students recognizable in the community.
2. Focusing on families of St. Ignatius School. We will actively seek opportunities to implement programs of value for our families. These include school programs such as art and music to enrich student education, as well programs to assist with child care options for families during the day.
3. Maintaining our strong sense of community. Current and previous families of St. Ignatius are the heart and strength of our school community. We’ll continue to build and support these relationships.
4. Financial stability and sustainability of our school. Our Board of Directors will ensure that students and staff can continue to learn and teach with the best possible resources at their disposal.
